Wesley Gensch

Baseball Instructor/Mentor

Wesley began his baseball career over 20 years ago in 1999. He grew up playing Little League in Pierceton, IN and played in a tournament for the Indiana Flame when he was 12. He attended Whitko High School where he played 1st base and pitcher, and is still on the school's all-time record list for saves. Wesley was recruited to go to Grace College where he played Varsity all 4 years, mostly as a closer, throwing over 50 innings in his career (over 40 innings in the last two years) as the team's primary reliever. He had 48 strikeouts over four seasons, including a career-best 23 strikeouts in 19.2 innings as a senior in 2016.  Wesley led the team in appearances both junior and senior year despite suffering an injury both years. Wesley has experience coaching little league teams and 13u Travel Baseball, but is currently focusing on one-on-one instruction. In his free time he plays on a summer baseball team as well. After graduating college with his Masters in Business Administration and Sport Management, he was the assistant head coach and pitching coach for Grace College for 1.5 seasons before stepping away to focus on launching his own business CoolCorp Inc, which features portable ice wraps for athletes and post-surgery patients. Wesley is a Baseball Instructor/Mentor with WBA and is passionate about helping athletes develop both their baseball and leadership skills.
