DJ Moore
Daniel (DJ) Moore is from Fort Wayne, Indiana. DJ attended Homestead High School where he played
baseball for four years and graduated in 2015. DJ went on to receive a baseball scholarship from
Huntington University where he played for four years. During his four years at Huntington University, he
played in two collegiate summer leagues in Fayetteville, North Carolina and Kalamazoo, Michigan. DJ
graduated from Huntington University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports Management and a
minor in Exercise Science. In the spring of 2017, DJ also served on a missions trip in Masaya, Nicaragua.
Following DJ’s career at Huntington University and looking to pursue professional baseball, his dream
fell short due to significant injuries. DJ became and Instructional Assistant in the Special Needs
Department at Homestead High School in the fall of 2019 for the next three years. His drive and passion
was to not only help disabled and underprivileged students within the school system but out in the
community as well. DJ currently serves as a baseball instructor with individual lessons and camps. DJ will
also be working with the adaptive side within the World Baseball Academy.
