Kristen Kimmel
Kristen Kimmel was born and raised in Brunswick, OH. Kristen attended Lutheran West High School as a track and basketball athlete. In 2003, she went on to earn a Marketing Degree from Valparaiso University. Immediately upon graduating college, she became a highly successful sales rep for Yellow Book in the Greater Cleveland area.
Kristen and Caleb Kimmel were married in 2005. She relocated to Fort Wayne and served as a key leader in helping build the early networking infrastructure for the future of the ASH Centre and World Baseball Academy. Kristen worked for Federated Media for several years before becoming World Baseball Academy's Development Director.
In 2019, Kristen successfully grew the Dinner on the Diamond event to a high-quality fundraiser that fuels and funds WBA's On Deck initiative that now serves over 1,800+ at-risk youth each year. Her leadership overseeing Dinner on the Diamond, corporate sponsorship, and donor relations has made a profound impact on WBA's ability to mature into a true community asset for Northeast Indiana.
In 2024, Kristen completed "The Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM)" which recognizes and substantiates a commitment to fundraising leadership and excellence. This CRFM certification is offered through the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. In 2025, Kristen was awarded the "Marc Davidson Coach of the Year" award by FCA of Northeast Indiana for her volunteer work and influence in the lives of young people.
Kristen serves as a volunteer at The Pointe Church, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Erin's House and various other nonprofit activities & events.
Kristen is the proud of mom of three children: Isaac, Eli & Ava Kimmel
