Ian Ohler grew up in Heyworth, Illinois, where he was a multi-sport athlete competing in football, basketball, and track throughout high school. He then went to Indiana Wesleyan University, where he earned a bachelors in Marketing and Sports Management. During his time in college, Ian completed three sports management internships, with his favorite experience being with the local Fort Wayne TinCaps. In January 2025, Ian joined World Baseball Academy as a full-time Business Development Associate. Ian is married to his wife, Ally, and they recently welcomed their first child, Dean.
