Grant Lashure grew up in Fort Wayne and played baseball at Bishop Luers High School. After high school, he went on to play college baseball at Ivy Tech Community College from the Fall of 2019 through the Spring of 2021. While attending Ivy Tech and playing baseball he was recognized as the NJCAA XII All Region Catcher. Grant eventually earned a scholarship to play Division 1 baseball at Eastern Illinois University where he became an all conference catcher his senior year. That summer, he was also invited to play in the MLB Draft-League. He accomplished all of this athletically while also maintaining quality academic grades earning a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and Wellness. Grant joined WBA in 2024 as a baseball instructor and as our Full-Time Maintenance Director.  Grant and his wife Miah recently had their first child Theodore.
