Blake was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN, graduating from Carroll High School in 2013. He played 2 years each at Indiana Tech and Grace College. Honorable mention All-Crossroads League in 2016, going 7-3 while only walking 9 batters in 77 innings. Graduated with a degree in Sports Management from Grace in 2017. After graduating, Blake worked as recreation director and outdoor education instructor at camps in Virginia and Michigan. He has coached and instructed a variety of different sports and activities for youth, and has a deep passion for the sport of baseball and helping out the next generation of ballplayers and leaders.
